The villa has 200 sq.m of living space and sits in its own 5- acre plot of olive and almond trees amidst unspoilt countryside and farmland adjacent to the Vendicari Nature Reserve. The house was built in 2016 to a high standard with double-height ceilings. All rooms have ceiling fans, storage space, internal shutters and insect screens.
Sun loungers surround the 12 metre turquoise swimming pool and a large pergola shades a dining table with seating for ten. There is a barbecue area close to the pool and stairs lead to a roof terrace, perfect for taking in the panoramic views at sunset.
The large open plan kitchen/dining room has marble and granite surfaces, a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, plenty of storage and a table seating ten. The sitting room opens on to the terrace and has sofas, a coffee table, an open fire, a digital TV, DVD player and music system. Other amenities include a guest loo, utility room with a washing machine, central heating, wifi with an excellent internet connection, books, games and a hairdryer. All bed linen and towels are provided, including swimming pool towels.
The villa is 15 minutes from the unspoilt sandy beaches of San Lorenzo, Vendicari, Eloro and Calamosche, as well as the fishing village of Marzamemi, with its picturesque restaurants and bars surrounding the harbour.The house is completely off-grid, with electricity from solar panels (and a back-up generator) and fresh water pumped from a borehole.
Villa Mandorleto is just over an hour's drive from Catania and Comiso airports which are served by frequent Easyjet, Ryanair, Norwegian Air, Alitalia and British Airways flights from UK airports.
Noto, regarded as a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque architecture, is listed among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The town has many lively shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as a theatre, museum and many churches. Festivals, exhibitions and cultural events take place all year round.

The climate is hot and dry in summer and mild in winter. Spring and autumn are often warm enough to swim in the sea.
