In the Sicilian dialect language, the term "Mannera" indicated the sheepfold and this villa, expertly restored,still reveals the ancient use; a large walled courtyard, now a delightful Zen garden,acted as a fence to the flocks; and the large canopies, today elegant areas for outdoor living, probably served asshelter during bad weather days; the rooms intended for shepherds and which were accessed externally from thefence, are now comfortable bedrooms. The restructuring designed in terms of essentiality knew wellto combine simple elegance and functionality, giving a touch of particular charm to the "Mannera", which comesfurther enriched by the revisiting of old country objects or even old "grandmother" furniture. Therevilla has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which with external access, 4 bathrooms, 3 of which are ansuite, fully equipped andcharacteristic kitchen, and a nice living room. The centerpiece of the villa is the internal courtyard, with dining and conversation areascovered and overlooking the delightful Zen garden which occupies half of thecourt.

The gate that leads to Cala Mosche, one of the most famous beaches in Sicily, is about 200 meters from the house, crossedthe entrance, a marked path inside the reserve leads to the beach with a walk of about 15/20minutes.The Cala Mosche beach is free. We therefore think that the villa is not suitable for families with very young childrensmall, unless you want to lean on the beach of San Lorenzo, about 2 km from Mannera, which it isequipped with bars with bar service The machine is essential
