Boat and Beaches
This western coastline is full of magnificent beaches, unspoilt bays and splendid beaches. Picturesque seascapes follow one another like a beautiful string of pearls. Calabrian with its turquoise waters and grottos is followed by Guidaloca a sandy, pebbly beach with a limpid sea of ever changing colors. Nearby is Cala Rossa where a pathway leads you down with an underground grotto. Finally, you arrive at the secluded bays and inlets, which form the spectacular Zingaro nature reserve.
There are numerous places where you can hire boats or alternatively several agencies offer excursions along the coast past the Zingaro. From Trapani you can take a ferry and visit the island of Pantelleria or the three exotic Egadi Islands.
