Positive: The views from the villa are absolutely beautiful and truly the highlight of the stay. The WiFi worked well for remote work, the layout is pleasant, and with a car, the location is quite convenient.

Negative: That said, there are several areas where the experience could be improved. The property is not entirely private, as a family lives in the other part of the house, which wasn’t clear from the overview and nice pictures in the listing. We also received the house rules only shortly before arrival, including pool hours (9–22), which was a surprise. The pool itself could also be better maintained, cleaned before arrival. Cleanliness is another point for improvement: we found some dirty dishes, a napkin left in the garden, and the kitchen had a very very unpleasant smell. Basic supplies like napkins and kitchen towels were also missing. Communication could also be improved. All messages were sent automatically in Italian, which was a bit confusing since English is more universal for travelers. When there was a storm and the power went out, it took several hours to get a reply. Because the gates are automated, we couldn’t even take the car out and ended up losing half a day before finding a solution ourselves. Clearer and quicker communication would have made a big difference.
