Summary: We had the most amazing stay at Claudia’s gorgeous villa. The pool is incredible as are the grounds. The rooms were comfortable, there is no air con and usually I think that would be ok as there are fans in each bedroom and feels much cooler inside. But as we stayed at the height of the European heat wave (39/40degrees) it was very hot overnight. Claudia recommended a local restaurant in the nearby town where we enjoyed a fantastic meal and fabulous hospitality for a fraction of the prices you would pay in Rome. There was also a restaurant around the corner that delivered delicious pizzas to the villa. Claudia also arranged for a chef to cook for us one night which was fantastic. I would recommend hiring a car, the town is only a 6 minute drive away but the road isn’t suitable to walk down. There were 2 decent supermarkets and lots of lovely cafes and it was amazing to walk around the medieval centre. Claudia and her family could not have been more helpful. We would love to come back again!
