This beautiful villa newly and completely renovated with private pool only for you offers an ideal solution for people who want to visit the beautiful cities of central Italy (Rome (1 h), Florence (2h), Perugia (1,15h), Assisi 1,20h) and at the same time rest and relax in the countryside. The casale (Italian typical farmhouse) is located 2 km from the Umbria hilltop village of Otricoli, less that 1 hour drive from Rome, 1.30 from Florence. It was built on the ruins of a Roman villa in the XIX century by Umbrian farmers and all the area around is dotted of roman ruins. The villa has a small private pool all for you, the old 'fontanile' of the farmers adapted to the new situation, (where the animals used to drink) a soccer and volley court and a ping pong table will help to relax and enjoy holidays. Summary: We fully enjoyed our visit to the Casa Rosso. The house was just excellent for 2x adult couples. Well equipped and furnished with taste. When needed the air-con units in all areas functioned perfectly and silently.The hostess, Alexandra, spoke fluent English and was always when needed quick to answer any Qs we had.
