Positive: WE liked the location and the size of the home. The amount of baths was great. Rooms were roomy. Lots of area outside

Negative: We didn't like that we were told we couldn't flush the toilet paper and had to throw it in the garbage after use. Gross! We fell that the home could have been better kept and cleaner. The outdoor kitchen and all around it were very dirty and unkept. The pool liner was gross and needs changing desperately. We used the pool but it looked unappealing and the area around the pool was very unkept with rocks and loos brick all around it. The house definitely needs lots of TLC and it could be very beautiful. The furniture is old and in some bedrooms there was now armoire or closet making it difficult when you are there for 10 days. The entire property is in desperate need of a landscaper. Everything is overgrown and a mess. Trees and flowers need to be trimmed and the entire outside property was dirt. Cement landings and stairs are broken and chipping off. Then we really suffered with all of the mosquitos. We were eaten alive. I know that is not the houses fault but the property could be treated regularly for that. Made life miserable for 12 people. We love Sicily and will return so we will have to explore other properties next time that might be newer and cleaner. Also the street down to the property needs lots of trimming and cleaning up. everything is overgrown. Also, the pictures and the bedding advertised in the photos and listing is not what is there. We had to ask for another twin bed because all of the rooms had queen beds in them and not everyone was a couple. 2 of the 3 lounge chairs that were there were broken. I did complained and they brought us 2 new ones. We really had no access to the sea like the ad said. It was a 12" path down and you could literally kill yourself to get down. In ending, we enjoyed our stay because it was a great family trip but the house & property needs lots of upgrading and fixing up.

Summary: It was enjoyable but could have been a pretty place with some work.
