Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would recommend it to others. The house is in a peaceful, secluded location, overlooking countryside to the coast, and (unlike many listings) the pool really is as big as it looks in the photos, and well maintained. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds and lockable doors, and the air conditioning is very efficient. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is the kitchen, which lacks an electric kettle, toaster or dishwasher, and the fact you can't put toilet paper down the loo. But the cooker and oven work well, there is ample fridge space, a good BBQ and outdoor seating areas, and the shower works well. The villa is well situated for exploring the East of Sicily, including Syracuse, Mount Etna, the southern Baroque cities and the coast. Andrea was a brilliant host and incredibly helpful - thank you so much!
