Positive: The location was great, close to all the attractions, restaurants very close, many shops. Cute apartment with lots of windows and views, also could see the Grande Canal and a side canal. Well equipped. Modern yet rustic. Good value for the money, just wished there was a host there to greet us, would have been more personable.

Negative: Beds were adequate but slightly hard and not enough cushion. 4 flights of stairs was tough with suitcases and backpacks. They key to lock the door was tricky, looked like an old key to a castle! the roof leaked when it rained, they should have had instructions on how the cook top worked and garbage sorting procedures. There is a hide-a-bed but no bedding provided. There were 2 of us and needed separate beds. Owner was responsive but with the time difference, it took a day or days to hear back. Gave us directions and contact numbers last minute which made me worried. But it all worked out. There is a fish market below that did have a smell but it wasn't too bad and did not bother me.
