Our beautiful 4 Bedroom traditional Caribbean style villa is the perfect vacation spot. Situated on Antigua's west coast next to the Jolly Harbour community and its amenities, it ideally positioned to take advantage of some spectacular beaches including the 2 mile long picture postcard Jolly beach where youโll find a large range of watersports available as well as the extremely popular beach bar Castaways. Other stunning beaches near by include Valley Church (with The Nest beach bar and restaurant), and Ffryes beach (The Dennis' beach bar and restaurant - serving excellent local and international dishes. If beaches aren't for you? Then relax in the villa's private enclosed pool, or take part in many of the other activities on offer on the island from water sports, fishing, golf, nature walks, zip wires - there's something to suit everyone.
Our villa has been inspected and approved for vacation rental by the Antigua Ministry of Tourism.
The space
Built in a traditional manner with a light and airy feel, the villa has been tastefully decorated and furnished and includes a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons. It has four good sized bedrooms with the master bedroom having en-suite facilities plus a further 2 guest/family bathrooms.
The open plan living area is bright and spacious with patio doors opening onto a covered outdoor dining area which in turn leads onto a generous sized deck complete with swimming pool. Set amidst an array of palm trees and tropical plants it is the perfect setting for an afternoon of relaxation or an evening meal watching a breathtaking Antiguan sunset. In addition the villa has been fitted with hurricane shutters and has central air-conditioning installed throughout.
From the villa you are within a 5 minute walk to the Jolly Harbour commercial center which houses many shops including a fully stocked supermarket, bank and a pharmacy to name just a few. Jolly beach is also just a 10 minute walk away. The Jolly Harbour resort, also boasts the biggest marina in the Eastern Caribbean and includes an 18-hole golf course and fully equipped gym.
Guests have private access to the entire property, garden and pool.
Our villa is managed by a local agent, Villa Management, who is on hand to help you during your stay. Guests can contact us by email too, however we are not able to give immediate responses.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
WELCOME PACK
This is a self-catering holiday let. However, we provide a basic welcome pack to help get you started on arrival. This includes bottled water, cold drinks, milk, hand soap, 3 x toilet rolls, 3 x bin bags. After this additional supplies will need to be purchased by yourselves.
TAX
Antigua & Barbuda Sales Tax (ABST): Your total accommodation charge will include a 14% ABST Charge.
SAFETY
Guests should exercise caution around the pool especially with regard to small children as there is no barrier / fencing around the pool.
Pimento Villa has been issued a licence to operate during times of the COVID pandemic and has put extra cleaning and disinfecting in place.
ANIMALS
Cats have been sighted around the outside of the property. Whilst every attempt is made to keep them away from patio furniture etc, we cannot guarantee a cat-allergy free environment.
ICE & WATER
The ice making function of the refrigerator is not linked to the mains water supply. You can make ice from bottled water using the trays provided or buy bags of ice from the supermarket. Mains supply water in Antigua is desalinated, and whilst safe to use we do not recommend drinking as a chemical taste is often present.
MOBILITY ACCESS
We do not recommend the property for people with mobility issues; the bathrooms are not wheel chair friendly and there are a couple of steps onto the decking area to gain access to the property.
