Summary: Great location in Noto. Our room at the Hotel la Dependance was quiet, clean, spacious and well appointed on the whole. But it is not a real hotel, with just one person (perfectly friendly) at reception during day time only; not a single chair in the room; and it is cheap skate for the price (eg charging for water from the fridge; and providing only paper cups and no tea bags or coffee for the kettle). Also the bottom of the door frame leading to our bathroom was rotten and needed replacing. Poor maintenance. Potential to be a great hotel, but not there yet.
