Positive: +ve -The overall style of the villa is rustic, a definite air of a country holiday home. A very typical Mediterranean home; it would not look out of place in a movie. -The large garden and balcony space was great, plenty parking, huge green area overlooking a vineyard on one side and an olive grove on the other side. -Large living room -We had 3 bedrooms, each had its own bathroom, mine had a bidet which was brilliant. -Washing machine was a huge plus especially when we were 7 people doing daily beach activities. -Air conditioning available in each bedroom and living room -The host was very generous, she welcomed us with a fruit bowl, bought italian ricotta pastries for us (so good) and the kitchen had certain basics to get you going such as Olive oil, sugar, tea, coffee, detergent etc. Those were nice touches. - The internet worked quite well and the speed was sufficient for numerous devices and users. - Cats, there are cats that seem to live on the premises in the garden area. This either a +ve or -ve depending which side of the fence you sit on. - Location was great, about a 4min drive to Marsala centre. Around the corner there is a large supermarket (Deco Superstore), and numerous coffee/pastry shops. We highly recommend Pasticceria Savoia for your morning snacks etc. even though they don't serve Espresso there for some reason. - Overall the location was a great jumping off point to explore the surrounding region (San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Mazarra del Vallo, Selinunte, Boats to Favignana) and still be within reach of Marsala city to go grab a drink or dinner in the evening.

Negative: -Precisely because of its rustic nature some guests may find it lacking certain home comforts, or find that certain aspects are not up to standard. For example , while the kitchen is extremely charming but the need for some basic maintenance is there such as with the cooker, one of the hobs is not working correctly. There was no kettle (or if there was I never found it) -We were a group of 7 consisting of 3 families, with my party (1 adult, 2 kids) we had the top bedroom unit above the kitchen, while the room was spacious enough with its own en suite bathroom, the bathroom was not well prepared for our arrival and certain issues had to be rectified. Also because maybe of the older nature of the building etc there was a smell coming from our bathroom. I rectified this by making sure to run the taps daily once/twice a day. - Cats, there are cats that seem to live on the premises in the garden area. This either a +ve or -ve depending which side of the fence you sit on.
