Positive: Wonderful with one great defect. We rented the two apartments for 3 weeks in July 2022. All is according to the description, wonderful pool, well-equipped kitchen, round Weber BBQ; the hosts are very helpful and friendly. The host by the way live at the same grounds, in the adjoining house, but respect very much the privacy. No, bother at all. So what is the great defect: AIRCO.

Negative: So what is the great defect: AIRCO. Although the description says the house in air-conditioned, this I not quite true. The master bedroom, which is very nice and very large, has airco, BUT, the airco is not strong enough to bring the temperature down (in our case not below 26°) AND the hosts control the airco … I never had that before. So they turn it on around 15 PM, and off around 5 AM. The two other sleeping rooms have no real airco; they have mobile units, with a flex tube, which you need to put out of the window. But then you can’t close the window, and warm air comes back in. This is highly inefficient, and on top of that, the host do not allow all airco’s working at the same time all the time, since this puts them over their maximum electricity usage, and the fuse jumps. But that means you can’t bring down the temperature, especially in the attic room. We we're threated that an extra charge would charged because of the use of electricity, even Interhome (who sublets) even called us to that effect. I'm sorry, but when you rent a home with aico @ more the two thousand a week, the aico should work ! No other rooms are air-conditioned So if you rent in a period where you think you will not need airco, we recommend the place, and you’ll have a good time, BUT in you want airco: DON'T GO PS: The house is situated on a fairly busy road, so during weekday’s there is quit some traffic, which is bothersome to sleep. PS2: In the master bedroom, 3 windows have no curtains, so as of 6AM there Is quite some light In the room.
