Summary: place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was !
It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room was small with fridge that hummed
heavily so had to switch off. Bed was uncomfortable for two with cheap memory foam mattress that had clearly lost its memory due to the high number of folk who’d slept on it.
Pool area good. generally site looked jaded and tired. Wouldn’t hurt to have a few more signs to direct to location.
Buffet breakfast okay. Stayed 2 nights. Location good for Noto / Modica/ Ragusa. But be better staying in one of those places in my opinion. Most reviews not for April but later in year -

Summary: Nice facility a little off the beaten track. There is a decent breakfast included, but no dinner option. A car is essential and the very narrow country lanes are not easy to navigate at night. There are many positives, including the views on clear days, a very attentive staff at breakfast and for house cleaning. Room for improvement could be for someone to be present at check-in time and not having to wait 45 minutes for him to show up ("I was only late by a few minutes"). As well, the pool looked beautiful, but was covered and unavailable and WiFi was only available in the common room but absent from the guest rooms. If you're looking for an Agriturismo experience without dinner, this would be a decent place to stay.
