Villa Torricella is a restored 17th-century Tuscan villa located in the quiet village of Sillicano in the Garfagnana region, close to the historic market town of Castelnuovo. The property offers generous indoor and outdoor space for families and groups, with views across the valley and easy access to Lucca, Florence, Siena and Pisa. Sillicano is a peaceful village with very little traffic, making it suitable for children, and its traditional character creates an authentic setting for a Tuscan holiday.
The villa retains original architectural features, including terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces, while providing the comfort needed for a relaxed stay. There are three sitting rooms, offering flexibility for groups, and a well-equipped kitchen adjoining a separate dining room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spread across the house, giving guests privacy and space.
Outside, a covered veranda overlooks the valley and is furnished for relaxing or reading. The private 10x4m swimming pool sits within a fully fenced garden, making it appropriate for families with young children. The garden includes a BBQ, an outdoor dining area and several seating spaces for enjoying meals or evenings outdoors. Parking is available in the village car park, located approximately 30 seconds from the villa.
