The picturesque village of Perledo overlooks the splendid romantic Varenna. From here it is possible to take a ferry to Bellagio and Menaggio or simply take a boat ride to explore the many beautiful villages overlooking the lake. In Varenna there is also the railway station that allows you to reach Lecco, Monza and Milan very easily, ideal for a day of shopping or for a sightseeing tour in the area.
Varenna, known as the Diamante del Lago has many restaurants, as well as bars by the lake, where you can enjoy an aperitif and admire the splendid view.
In the winter months it is possible to access the ski resorts less than two hours away, such as Bormio, St. Moritz and Madesimo, to name a few.
