The lake-view villa is located in a peaceful residential area of Colico surrounded by a green landscape on all sides. There is a pizzeria about a 10-minute walk from here. However, for more restaurants and shops as well as for enjoying the equipped grass beach on Lake Como, it is best to visit the lakefront which is about a 30-minute walk/5-7 minutes drive from the rental.
Colico is dominated by Mount Legnone and is a world-class destination for its natural attractions, man-made forts and water sports. The weather and wind are best for enjoying kitesurfing, sailing and windsurfing. For outdoorsy types, mountain biking, tennis, horse riding and golfing present a wonderful opportunity to stay fit and active.
Another place of interest is Piona Abbey which is about a 15-minute drive from here. It offers one of the best panoramic views of Northern Lake Como that can be enjoyed in the peaceful atmosphere of the monastery. For visiting the Golden Triangle town like Bellagio and Menaggio, Varenna with convenient boat connections is 25-minutes by car. The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes from this holiday villa on Lake Como!
