Villa Angelica is located in a panoramic position in the Tuscan countryside of the Valdinievole area, among hills and olive groves, chestnut and oak woods.
The property is surrounded by a lovely garden with lawn, old terracotta Tuscan vases and private parking (up to 5 cars). A large patio is equipped with lounge area, barbecue and a dining table, ideal for having alfresco lunches/dinners.
Within the garden is a beautiful infinity pool (8 x 16 m) with a large hydromassage area for 8 people, nestled in the greenery.
Generally open from mid-April to mid-October (depending on weather conditions), the pool is illuminated at night, and is equipped with a cleaning system that insures utmost hygene and eliminates any possible inconvenience caused by the chloride.
Around the pool there is a solarium area with sun beds, deck chairs, parasols and a dining table.
Then you will find a relax area with an antique marble table and chairs.
At guests\' disposal also a large changing room with two showers, a toilet and a children\'s corner with swing and slide.
Internal Description
Villa Angelica is a historic Tuscan villa dating back to the second half of the 18th century, built with the typical local stone and expertly furnished with fine antiques. It is spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 8 people for a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The property has Internet Wifi, air conditioning in all rooms and mosquito screen in all windows. Small pets are allowed on request.
Ground floor: You are welcomed by a bright living area with sofas, armchairs, a large 15th fireplace and a dining table for 14 people. From here you can admire a wonderful view over the garden and the pool and, in the distance, the old town of Monsummano Alto.
Following is a sitting room and an airy kitchen with fireplace and antique-style oven.
Finally there is a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with direct access over the veranda, equipped with table and chairs.
First floor: The top floor, reacheable by a stone staircase, is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows:
- 1 large double bedroom with private bathroom (with Turkish bath and shower) and a fantastic view over Monsummano Alto;
- 1 smaller double bedroom with a panorama of the valley and the pool;
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (that can be joined together if necessary);
- 1 bathroom with hydromassage bathtub and shower with lights and aromatherapy, shared by the double bedroom and the twin bedroom.
On this floor all the bedrooms are characterized by antique cotto floors and beams, which have been restored with taste by the owners.
