Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The lovely big terrace, where you can have a drink while watching the mountains and the clouds. The big library room where you could chat and relax. The family portraits (?) in the corridor, including a vicar, to say hallo to every morning…. We really like Daniel, the manager, always attentive and very helpful, doing all sort of jobs and taking time if possible for giving advice and a little chat too. All the staff in general were very good and especially the cleaner and the young lady at reception.

Negative: The fact that the room didn’t have a mosquito net. We were told that next year there will be more refurbishments including that.

Summary: A really friendly castle you will feel sorry to leave.
