Our holiday home is located on the northern coast of Sicily, near Termini Imerese and Trabia.
The beach with its clean and beautiful sea is only a 5-minute walk from the house. The central location of the house is an ideal starting point for many excursions on the island: Palermo, Cefalù, Caccamo, Himera, Castelbuono and the Madonie, Segesta and Erice, Agrigento, Etna and Taormina...
Bright and cosy, the holiday home is the perfect accommodation for your family or a group of friends. Artists, smart workers and parents with children are welcome.
The flat offers a bright and spacious living room with dining table and seating area, as well as a reading room or study with desk and Internet connection, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a small bedroom with bunk beds. There is a new, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and refrigerator, a bathroom with bathtub and another with shower and washing machine. A storage room is also available.
Thanks to the large 19th century stone wall and the modern cork roof insulation, the temperature is pleasant in summer. Fans are available in the bedrooms.
As a guest, you will appreciate the Mediterranean atmosphere and the beautiful olive garden of the house and feel at home in the company of friends. The flat is bright and cosy and the lovely family furniture conveys intimacy: the ideal place for a holiday. The owners live on the first floor of the house. They speak German and will be happy to help you with any questions.
Particularly charming is the inner courtyard of the house with its stone paving and fountain, where you can enjoy the fresh air even in the middle of summer. You can also sit comfortably on the private terrace furnished with garden furniture. The house is surrounded by a shared garden with olive trees. Parking is available for you.
The villa is only a five-minute walk from the beach. In the small bay you can swim, dive and fish, while children can build sand castles. Thanks to its central location and excellent road and rail connections, the house is an ideal starting point for many excursions (Termini Imerese, Trabia and San Nicola L'Arena, Cefalù, Caccamo, Bagheria, Palermo, etc.).
Those who rent the house for a week or more have the opportunity to take a free cooking class. They cook really delicious Sicilian specialities!
Nearby are the thermal springs of Termini Imerese, the important archaeological museum of Himera and the ancient Roman remains in the public garden.
Trabia offers two beautiful medieval castles by the sea and long sandy beaches. Caccamo is a charming medieval town with beautiful churches and excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
In Bagheria, you can visit the villa where Goethe lived in the 18th century; the owner will be happy to provide advice and information during your visit.
Cefalù, Palermo and Monreale can be reached in less than half an hour from the house. Other well-known tourist attractions in Sicily such as Segesta, Erice, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina and Mount Etna are also within easy reach.
