The holiday house is in the Alcantara Valley in a quiet location, in the midst of an orange garden, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and flowers. There is another holiday house on site.
The living space totalling 62m² is spread over two floors. The ground floor has a big living room-kitchen (40m²) equipped with a sofa, satellite TV, a radio and a cooking corner. The kitchen unit provides a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee machine and toast6er. You can find everything you need for cooking and there is also a cosy dining space. On this floor there is also a bathroom with a shower and bidet. The upper floor comprises two bedrooms, each with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and antique Sicilian furniture. One of the double beds can also be separated into two single beds. The sofa in the living room can be converted into an additional bed. A highchair and children’s bed are available on request. The house has heating. There is no Internet connection.
The terrace of around 20m² affords a panoramic view of the valley and Etna. The house is surrounded by a shared garden with orange trees, which provide shade from the Sicilian heat in summer. A gas grill and sink are available for use, so that you can also prepare and enjoy meals outdoors. The pool is the centrepiece of the shared outdoor area, with garden furniture, six loungers, a parasol and an outdoor shower. The whole site is fenced. It is accessed through two gates, a large one for the driveway and a smaller pedestrian one. The private parking space is right in front of the house.
The holiday house is perfect for holiday-makers seeking peace, quiet and relaxation in an elegant and modern ambience. It is quietly situated, away from traffic and noise. The landscape offers a wonderful panorama. The view of Etna is especially spectacular when the volcano erupts. The interesting Alcantara Gorge is 2km away, the sea at Taormina and Giardini Naxos is 14km away. Shops, supermarkets and restaurants can be found within a kilometre.
