Summary: Unusal, quirky decor but a great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, very clean, beds incredibly comfortable and a brilliant pool area. Breakfast quite basic (extra charge for fried eggs or omelette) and restaurant pricey as often is the case in hotels. Not central to Catania but lovely to be away from the craziness so you can relax. Good bus options to the town, or further up the coast.
