Not far away (30 min by car) it is possible to reach Syracuse with the treasures of the Greco-Roman civilization (Greek Theater, Roman Theater, the Ear of Dionysus, the Latomie). Also recommended are visits to locations where several episodes of the fiction "IL commissario Montalbano" were filmed. One of them is located in Sampieri, on the Pisciotto cliff, at the "Fornace Penna" (called in the fiction "La mannara").
