Summary: We really enjoyed our time in Rome and at Casa Emma. The apartment is in a nice area and about a 30 minute walk to the Colosseum. We appreciated how clean it was and the supplies provided. The balconies were a nice feature. Marta was very helpful and patient when we ended up walking to the wrong apartment. The only downside is that the property manager must check you in and there is a pretty hefty fee for checking in after hours (it was over 30 to check in after 10 pm) and was more expensive later in the night. As a note, the check in fee and the city tax must be paid in cash. We really appreciated the places where we could self checkin (since we were traveling and didn't know our exact plans and so we didn't have to pay an additional fee) and where they could charge the city tax to our credit card. Other than that, we have nothing but great things to say about the apartment and management company. We'd definitely recommend it!
