Positive: We chose the accommodation as a base for the last day before departure. It is very close to the airport and offers everything you need for such a stay. I would especially appreciate the very helpful approach of the landlord, who responded promptly to every question before our arrival and was available throughout the stay. I also positively evaluate the fact that he has prepared information texts for the guests in different languages, so even though he does not speak English, you can find all the basic information in your language in the room. The apartment has mosquito nets installed in all openings (windows, doors), which is amazing. There is also air conditioning. You just need to be careful not to turn on several appliances at the same time (oven, microwave and air conditioning), because it can blow the fuses (our mistake). The apartment has two terraces and the owner has a beautiful garden and a friendly dog (which you don't even know about unless you go to explore the garden).

Negative: The beach is about ten minutes walk from the accommodation, but it is not exactly beautiful. It is not completely dirty, but the tide brings algae to the shore, so it is not that nice compared to other beaches in Sicily. But it is absolutely sufficient to say goodbye to the sea before departure, and the seabed gradually decreases, so it is safe for children. If you want better swimming, you need to go to more distant beaches. The lack of kitchen equipment for a longer stay could also be described as a minor defect (sharp knife, cutting board, dish sponge), but I believe that if we had told Matteo, it would not have been a problem to supplement it (but it was not needed for one night). The accommodation offers parking inside the premises, which is true, but when you first enter the facility it is a bit of adrenaline fun thanks to the cars parked on the street, yet each subsequent drive it gets easier and the car is safe. You can park with a regular car without any problems.

Summary: Excelent place near the airport with super landlord - next time we return again
