Summary: We liked a lot: (1)very close (40m) to the beautiful beach with lovely shallow water - great for young kids; (2) spacious house with very large garden and plenty of space to relax inside/outside; (3) well equipped kitchen and house (4) very welcoming host, Danila. Quick response to enquiries and requests; (5) overall positioning of the house in relation to Pozzallo, the Baroque towns, etc.We did not like: (1) the house is also c.50m from SP67, busy provincial road. We did not realise it at the moment of booking but there is only the house garden that separates you from the road. There is traffic noise in the back garden all the time so it's hardly relaxing (2) the house is rather tired, esp. bathrooms and is in need of maintenance. Same applies to the garden - large and nice but not well maintained. Benches you cannot sit on, shaky coffee table and chairs, table umbrella falling, etc. Also there were some unexplained piles of rubbish (broken plastic, pieces of wood fence, broken bricks) in a few places. We were with young kids and had to be vigilant to make sure they won't approach these areas.(3)there is an AC in one of the bedrooms only, it was c.38 during the day in late June and it was hard to sleep in other rooms at night despite the ceiling fans. (4) the property charges euro 100 for the use of bedlinen and towels (already in the quoted price but a separate line). Towels were in plentiful supply but the bedlinen was the cheap and rough polyester/cotton mix, very hot and uncomfortable to sleep on in the hot climate and scratchy. Simple pure cotton would have been appreciated. Overall, I would give 3.5 out of 5.
