This former barn, now transformed into a cosy villa, is located on the edge of the stunning Baroque town of Scicli in southern Sicily. It is close to beautiful beaches and historical sites, making it an ideal position for guests to enjoy everything the region has to offer. Scicli has several excellent restaurants and cafés, and for self-catering, Scicli's weekly market takes place on Tuesday mornings in Via Saffi.
The two-storey villa sleeps 4 people comfortably and effortlessly blends traditional pale stone with contemporary touches. The open-plan living area on the ground floor features armchairs, sofas, and a flat-screen TV. The dining table seats 6 people and is next to a beautifully appointed kitchen equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. Large glass doors open up from the living area to a shaded courtyard, furnished with a dining table for relaxed al fresco meals.
The villa has a large, private garden with terraces, a lawn, and olive trees, as well as an attractive swimming pool bordered by wooden decking, sun loungers, and a shaded seating area. The medieval fishing village of Donnalucata, known for its wide, sandy beaches and restaurants, is a 10-minute drive from the villa.
