A country road bordered by white dry stone walls leads to Santolìo Country Retreat. The entrance is a courtyard that overlooks a large garden, full of olive and fruit trees.
The structure is divided into two residential sections.
The main living space features a large apartment comprising living room with fireplace, dining room, Sicilian-style kitchen, bathroom, and can accommodate up to 4 guests thanks to its two double bedrooms. The second living space is the adjacent annex with double bedroom, bathroom and living room with kitchenette.
Santolìo Country Retreat, surrounded by a white stone fortification, is built next to an ancient necropolis carved into the stone, part of archaeological evidence covering a very broad chronological span. From the top of the necropolis you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surroundings and wonderful sunsets. Here the passage of peasant activity can also be seen due to the presence of hypogea used by the "massari", for example, for the fermentation of the must and for the production of ricotta.
