I must(!) comment on the price:
This includes a handling fee of the platform, which we are not responsible for - WE rent at the lower price, - even if we are already cheaper anyway. !
This is also because we offer things that otherwise cost extra ( such as non-alcoholic beverages unlimited, 4 different sized towels, also for the beach, etc,etc ).
In addition, we have inserted discounts in July on this platform, so that the travel price is not too high - on another platform we do not need that, there WE simply pay for an advertisement. - and people who find us by Villa Marechiaro, Anzio easily, of course, do not pay extra fees, but that lbst left.
Where we do not understand any fun, is when we are denied communication with our guests, - because in our opinion this must be mandatory.
Now to the essentials:
Situated in a perfect position between the sea and the road to Rome.

I was asked how many guests there is room for - it would be seven, even nine - but then not with the same comfort. So there are extra beds, even a baby crib and still 2 places on a (very good!) Sofa bed, but then you can not use the TV/living room the same. - Or: We put an extra bed in the room, whereby the "togetherness" is then also no longer given. In addition:
More guests cause more costs, it increases the price per person.
Our alternative is: A separate "garden house", a small newer bungalow with its own bathroom and mini kitchen - and a very nice covered pergola.
Since I look at what other landlords offer so, still the note:
The accommodation should be no more than MAXIMUM(!!) 300m from the beach!
Any greater distance can become an ordeal in the summer!
Car? Forget it!!
You will not get parking spaces - with us the car can stay inside closed walls.
In other words: If you want to live by the sea, you will regret every additional 50m distance !!!!
There is a recommendable house "around the corner" - but first of all it is 50% more expensive - and much worse: you are supposed to park on the street . impossible !!!!
There are beautiful houses in the countryside 10-50km from here.
In winter you drive there 20 minutes, 1 hour - in summer 2-5 hours - traffic jam!!!
- And end up here without parking.
Last: I get dizzy when I see how some (most) have raised prices to 3-4-5000€ and more....
There are a handful of cheaper properties - but they are much smaller, much further away and with much less power.
I just want to present the facts, because I am "on the ground" and therefore know them....
BUT NOW - MUCH MORE INFORMATION !
You want "the right accommodation" as a base?
We are certainly ONE that lends itself to that.
Instead of 'glossy advertising' -
here are the most important info:
We offer in a quiet, non-touristy villa area (2.5 km to town) our semi-detached house "Villa Marechiaro" on a 1,000 sqm garden plot.
If you search for Karl Heinz and "Villa Marechiaro" in Anzio, you will quickly find what you are looking for - you really should, because without details and good communication I do not rent to strangers !
I run the house for about 10 years - with "top marks" ... ;-)
But search for yourself and find more information.
The beach VERY close and to visit in swimwear - to the train just up the street and in an hour you are in the heart of Rome - 15 min from the Colosseum. (3,60€)
Please don't ask me for a phone number or a mail address - vrbo doesn't like that and deletes them! If you still want to contact me - search yourself ( very easy ) and your request will be appreciated even more .

ON THE CONTRARY !!!
Not even the various waters/lemonades/etc or various coffees/teas on site have to be paid (UNLIMITED! as long as the big stock lasts - and that's long.).
THIS is not a "publicity stunt" ( we are always booked out quickly anyway ), - we feel this is necessary !
3. the beaches of Anzio are the only ones in Lazio that are regularly awarded the 'Bandiera Blue' (blue flag), for clean, plastic- and chemical-free, hygienic water and beach - only a few have this on the total of almost 15 km of beach....
Who would like, can inquire fmdl. by local call (D-No.) - or also look for "Karl Heinz, Anzio"...
Not all times which are indicated as "free" are always !!!
I plead guilty, because I "modify" the calendar consciously - as a protection for both of us.
What sounds negative at first, should give us the chance to coordinate wishes on other, possibly free dates 1-2 Tg/Wo before/after - so one comes then possibly nevertheless together.
One can also simply by mail ANFRAGEN - and gets from me the alternatives pointed out.
Because otherwise the alternative would be: You don't see this offer at all(!!), - for example because a single day(!) overlaps!
But we check each request very quickly and can usually confirm bindingly on request...!
Attention!
With the 'Garden House' (7 y.) we have an option/alternative on offer if you still bring parents or friends (or want to come as a couple - possibly with a LITTLE child -3 y.) - located in the back garden, between palms and fruit trees, with shady pergola - often for grandparents, friends, brother - booked as an extension in addition (but also to book alone).
The "guest house" accommodates in standard FIVE (with children up to max. 7 pers. - please ask for the extra charge
- it has THREE bedrooms plus a large sofa bed in the WZ - this is more correct ;-))
We offer our vacation house preferably to families, but also to couples or small groups.
Everything you need for a relaxing, cultural or "ambitious" vacation is at your disposal.

In addition to the characteristics of the equipment (which we could only click and therefore not always "accurate enough" (example "oven" - YES, we have, - not installed, set separately, "washing machine" - YES, a separate is ver-.
available, managed by us free of charge (1ct) There are other things that are not listed, for example also the ceiling fans, which WE prefer to the small "air conditioners" in any case.
But it is also possible to add an extra bed (optional, 1 baby crib is also free).
There are also free shower and hair cleaners and soaps.... .
The beds are described by guests as very comfortable, and by the manufacturer as "orthopedic".
(Since we only rent 4 months a year, the mattresses (unlike those in the hotel) are only 1 year old after 3 years
- with a lot of "air" in between).
Also the living room offers enough space - the terrace alternating with the garden is a favorite place for all visitors - big enough for the big dining table (8 persons), a shady pergola, deck chairs on request
- and with a beautiful view of the sea
- and about sunrise and sunset - about 3-4 neighboring gardens.
In conclusion: we are actually cheaper than shown here - and searched elsewhere, it turns out that the prices there (for the same service) are ~200€ lower, - this is not because of us, but because Vrbo or one of the subcontractors can use it to pay the agency - this is evident in the price information. From this point of view, this is fine and everyone can decide for themselves how to evaluate or manage this aspect.
The fact is: without the services of Vrbo you can find us - and basically there is no other way!
One last, very important note:
When you book, do so for the FIVE people involved and be prepared to pay a fee for the extra people - they incur more costs!
and do not ask me a little later to bring a small dog, cat or guinea pig - we do not accept pets in the interest of our guests.
But: we have 5 well-kept and very tame cats, that's all.... - plus wild parrots in the garden.
